There is a tiny pinhead-sized hole to the back and one hook-and-eye fastening has become slightly loose. In places the heavy embroidery appears to have pulled very slightly against the base fabric. Replacement beads and fasteners are still attached to the garment.
The original label also notes that irregularities and variations in the weave are characteristic of the fabric. With this in mind, some of the variation and handmade appearance should be considered part of the character of the piece rather than damage.
